Lilly was a singer like her mother, although not as good. Her mother had natural talent but Lilly had to work extra hard to be as good as her mother. During the big talent festival she got up and began singing really beautifully, but a guard started throwing rotten tomatoes at her followed by the other guards. Humiliated, she ran off into the forest and was found by her father; he tried to comfort her but suddenly he slashed her throat and left her to die. He was not her real father at all, her mother had spent the night with someone else, much to her fathers wrath when he found out. The guy had been executed for raping the captain's wife (which was a lie to protect his pride and standing). So he was always resentful of this child that was not his. So there he left her to die, while he went to go back and guard the festival.
Lilly was saved by a priestess who had been in the forest and witnessed the event. Lilly's throat was healed but her voice never returned, saddened that she would never sing again, she took up playing instruments instead. It is unknown how and when she lost her leg as she never talks about it.
